Upcoming Classes

My desire is to teach as many people as I can to cook delicious, Southern food for their families. We can do this with simple and practical cooking techniques. Register for classes using the link for Eventbrite.

Southern Fried Chicken & Chicken Pastry

We'll prepare Southern fried chicken like Grandma used to cook for Sunday lunch! We'll also cook honey fried chicken and chicken tenders with homemade honey mustard sauce. Since we're at it... might as well make a pot of chicken pastry! $50 per person.

Chocolate Cake Goodness

This cake does NOT disappoint! Learn how to make a chocolate cake and choose from one of three flavors your whole family will love. Each participant will make their own cake and keep it! All ingredients are provided. No need to bring a thing! Choose from German chocolate, Triple chocolate, or Candy Bar.

Homemade Biscuits

Homemade, buttermilk biscuits! Each participant has their own mixing bowl, utensils, apron, and ingredients. Even if you've never made a biscuit before in your whole life... you can do this! $50 per person.

Home Canning - Vegetables

Together, we'll can tomatoes (start to finish) using water bath method as well as pressure canning. We'll discuss lots of facts and there will be handouts with a lot of information about food preservation. Participants will leave with two jars of canned tomatoes. $80

For young teens to senior adults! We’ll make a grilled chicken garden salad and a sweet dessert learning basic skills along the way: How to measure; slice, dice, peel, and chop knife skills; flour differences; how to read a recipe; stove, oven, and cookware basics; and so much more…
